CRIDDLE: Jason Talbot Criddle passed away peacefully, with family and friends by his side, on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the age of 41 years. Jason was born on March 17, 1978 to Frank and Sharon. Jason had a great love of life and youthful spirit, enjoying many hours playing with his niece and nephew, watching animated TV shows, playing with his Playstation and collecting sports and Yu-Gi-Oh trading cards. Jason also had a great love of animals, especially his dog Jessie, and was always attracting the neighbourhood pets. Teaching and helping others was very important to Jason. He took courses in adult literacy and sign language, and read books about human behavior and psychology, so that he could teach those who were in need. Jason will be remembered by both co-workers and customers as Smiley. Always with a big smile, he brightened the day of everyone he was in contact with, happy to take time to listen, share a laugh or offer a shoulder to lean on. When not working, Jason could usually be found enjoying coffee at Forbidden Flavours. Jason will be lovingly remembered by his parents, mom Sharon Criddle (Chatwell), dad and step-mom Frank and Penny Criddle, sister Michelle Connolly and many other family members and friends. A Celebration of Jasons Life was held at the Brockie Donovan Chapel on Thursday, July 11, 2019. Donations in memory of Jason may be made to the Brandon Humane Society, 2200-17th Street East, Brandon, MB, R7A 7M6. Messages of condolencemay be placed at www.brockiedonovan.com
