GERRARD: Helga Johanna Gerrard of Strathclair, wife of the late George Gerrard, passed away Friday, August 2, 2019 at Morley House Personal Care Home, Shoal Lake at the age of 99 years. Helga is survived by children: Christine (Lawrence) Bertram of Winnipeg, Alex (Kirsten) of Winnipeg, Nelson of Hnausa, Lois (Dennis) Ostash of Shoal Lake, Ian (Cathy) of Strathclair, Douglas of Seech Lake, 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Strathclair United Church with Rev. Jamie Bradshaw officiating. Interment will be at The Bend Cemetery with a reception to follow at the Strathclair Municipal Hall. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Western Manitoba Cancer Center, Brandon.
