PERSWAIN: Mary Jane Perswain, October 16, 1944 to August 4, 2019. It is with deep sadness and sorrow we announce the passing of our mother, the youngest daughter of Lucy and Pete Perswain, at the age of 74 years. Predeceased by her partner Maurice Houle; lovingly remembered by her best friend and sister Ann McLean, children: Bill (Phyllis); Glen; Mike (Alberteen); Teresa (Harvey); Marylin, Cindy (Lawrie); James and all of mom’s adopted children that called her “Mom”; all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mom, you were our North Star, you anchored us to this earth, and you centered us and held us all together. You always had enough time, love and kind words for us all. We are lost, but we will find the strength to rise up and be strong, just like you taught all of us to be. Thank you for loving us all so greatly.A Memorial Service will be held at Brockie Donovan Chapel, 332-8th Street, on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. Interment will follow at Brandon Cemetery.
