WHYTE: Jenelle passed away peacefully after a long, difficult battle with Wilms Tumour on the evening of July 13, 2019 at Hamiota District Health Centre, her loving parents Craig and Marianne were holding her hands. Jenelle was born in Hamiota on August 25, 1986 and was raised in Kenton. Most of her adult life she lived in Brandon where she enjoyed a full life and was employed at Winners. July 13th, 2019, was the day Jenelle chose to make her dream come true; to hold a fund raising event at Kenton Memorial Park, which she named Jenelles Fudge Cancer Concert. She was able to attend the concert for a short time in the afternoon and was happy to see that her vision was such an overwhelming success. Jenelle was also pleased to know that the people of her community and surrounding areas supported her in such a huge way. Being born with Sprintzens Syndrome, Nell faced challenges throughout her life voraciously and ferociously. Disabilities did not interfere with her living life the way she wanted to. She was strong and determined as was she vulnerable and kind. Jenelle travelled, scrapbooked and loved her dogs, her family and friends, she loved Kenton. She truly had a zest for life. We are saddened that it was shortened by cancer. Jenelle is survived and missed by many loved ones: her dog Molly, her dad and mom, brothers Roy and Danny, also aunties, uncles and cousins, extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Bill and Mary Hidichuk and John and Bea Whyte, also a special great uncle Geordie Whyte. On July 20th, 2019, at Kenton Memorial Park a Celebration of Jenelles life took place, the same park where her beloved Fudge Cancer Concert took place a week earlier. If so desired memorial donations can be made to Hamiota District Health Centre Foundation tagged Jenelles Fudge Cancer.
