NOWOSAD: Anthony (Tony) Nowosad of Oakburn passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2019 at the age of 92 years. Tony is survived by his wife Sonia; daughter Pam Douthwright of Thunder Bay, Ontario; 2 sons: Clarence (Val) of Watrous, Saskatchewan, and Stewart (Lynne) of Oakburn; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Oakburn with Father Mykhaylo Khomitskyy officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Oakburn Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery Fund or to Dementia Living” Project, c/o Shoal Lake-Strathclair Health Centre.
