VENTNOR: With great sadness the family wishes to announce the passing of Norman Ray Ventnor on Tuesday, August 27, 2019. Norman was born on September 8, 1939 at Riding Mountain, Manitoba. He was predeceased by both parents, three brothers and a sister. Norman will be lovingly remembered by his partner of 38 years, Charlene Sangster; his children Val Marie (Scott), Doug, Norma-Jean (Wally), Charlie, Garth (Vicki) and Kara; 12 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; his sister Hazel (Barry) Wareham and brother Glen (Linda); the mother of his children, Irene; and many nieces and nephews. The Celebration of Norman’s Life will be held at Rivers Community Church, Lower Level, 447 Edward Street, Rivers on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. Honorary bearers are all his grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations in Norman’s memory may be made to the Manitoba Lung Association, Unit 301, 1 Wesley Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4C6.
