WILSON: Elizabeth Mary Corrance Wilson, affectionately known as Elma, died on Friday, May 31, 2019 at the age of 79 years. Elma grew up in Scotland and worked as a nurse where she met her husband, Dr. Charles Wilson. In 1968, Elma immigrated to Canada with Charles and their two children Beth and David. Elma was a lover of classical music, a voracious reader of history and a keen gardener. Elma will be dearly missed by her children Beth Saunders and David (Angela) Wilson and grandchildren: Avery, Emilie, Paton and Rayden. To those who knew Elma, she was bright with a great sense of humour and it may surprise many that she was also shy and an extremely private person. It is perhaps for these reasons that Elma has requested no formal service on her passing but rather that those who knew her remember her privately and as she was when she was alive. Donations in memory of Elma may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation, 1379 Kenaston Blvd., Winnipeg, MB, R3P 2T5 or to a charity of choice. Messages of condolencemay be placed at www.brockiedonovan.com
