LUPIER: William Edward “Ed”, our very much loved husband, father, papa, uncle, brother-in-law and friend passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019. Ed Lupier was born in McCreary, Manitoba on January 28, 1949 to Elva and Lawrence Lupier. After his father’s death the family moved to Kelwood – it was a good town to grow up in. He met his wife-to-be in those years and on October 21st they celebrated 53 years together. Two children were born to them: Storm (Jenny) and Sheri (Greg) Lupier-Roziere. In due time five much loved grandchildren arrived: Selena, Serena, Rain, Jet and River. Married life started in Winnipeg where Ed worked at the CN shops in Transcona as a sheet metal worker. This started his interest in his life-long work as a Boilermaker out of Local 555. He loved his “Boilermaker family” and the stories told years later still made him smile. For over 40 years Brandon was home, the last 20 years on his acreage which was his “happy place”. He loved life and made friends easily, he was generous and helped anyone whenever he could. He delighted in giving away his homemade soup and bread and no one ever left his get togethers hungry. We all have “Ed stories” and he won’t be soon forgotten. Ed was predeceased by his parents, brother Lorne Freeman, sisters Lenore (Ken) Dublin and Evelyn (Brian) Hearn, and his mother and father-in-law Ethel and Louie Tokarek. Rev. 21:3&4 holds a promise that Ed had much faith in.“til we meet again”Expressions of sympathymay be made atwww.memorieschapel.com

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Dear Uncle Eddie, I am missing you today, your generosity and your warm, enveloping spirit. I have fond memories of the kind things you did for me and Kieran: how you taught him to shoot. The time you went shopping to Costco and brought in all those groceries for me and the wonderful things you did for Mom. I will remember you and your faith in Jehovah. I don't know if i will be one of those people that you said you were going to welcome back in Kelwood after the resurrection but I do know that as long as I live I will have good memories of you and Auntie Ev. With Love, your niece Debra. - Posted by: Debra Dubl (Neice) on: Jul 26, 2024
