CREBER: On November 4, 2019 Mr. James Henry Creber of St. Paul passed away at the age of 89 years. James was born on August 28, 1930 in Newdale, Manitoba to Richard and Jessie Creber. He had 3 siblings, Daisy, Mary Lou and Bill, and they grew up together on a farm. James attended school in Newdale and Strathclair, completing Grade 9. He farmed after leaving home, and married Jean on March 1, 1952. Together they had 5 children, Shirley, Diana, Marion, Cindy and Glenn. James and Jean raised their family while continuing to farm. James loved country music in addition to raising horses and Angus cattle. He did some traveling in British Columbia, Manitoba and Alberta. Family remembers James always playing country music, a cowboy at heart with an interest in showing purebred cattle. His special events would be birthdays and anniversaries. James is survived by his children, Shirley Durell of Athabasca, Diana Creber of St. Paul, Marion (Darrell) Danylak of Strome, Cindy Mytz of Edmonton and Glenn (Sherri) Creber of Sangudo; 10 grandsons; 6 granddaughters; 17 great-grandsons; 12 great-granddaughters; 11 in-laws; numerous nieces and nephews. James was predeceased by his wife, Jean; 2 grandchildren, Alexander and Andrew Resch; 2 sisters, Daisy and Mary-Lou and brother, Bill. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
