ENNS: Anna Marie Enns was born in Altona, Manitoba on June 20, 1943. She enjoyed life and had a personal faith and joy in the Lord. She enjoyed people, hobbies, various volunteer jobs and her employment years. She retired from paid employment in the Brandon Hospital on June 20, 2002, moving to Bethania Haus in Winnipeg to be a companion to her recently widowed mother. After her mother’s death in 2004, she remained in Bethania Haus, having found joy in settling into a new church home and having made many new friends in her apartment building. Anna died on January 3, 2020, and leaves to mourn her siblings Edward (Helga), Tony (Freda), Alvin (Susan), Nettie, Richard (Margaret) and Kathy, and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Dietrich and Anna (Paetkau) Enns, brother-in-law Bernard Klassen and an infant great-niece. Flowers are gratefully declined. Thank you to the staff of 7th floor St Boniface Hospital and 3E of Riverview Health Centre for your compassionate care in the last weeks of Anna’s life. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing before the service at the Elmwood MB Church, 145 Henderson Hwy., Winnipeg, MB. Interment at Sage Creek Cemetery.
