WELBOURNE: The family of Gordon Welbourne regret to announce his passing on January 10, 2020 at the age of 89 years old. He is survived by his children, Deborah (Gorden) Ford, Barbara Clarke, Heather Davie, son Douglas, daughter-in-law Denise, as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters, Helen Toovey, Norma Owen, Marlene (Ted) Bialas and Sandra (Jim) Mitchell; brothers, Eric, Bryan and Duncan, sister-in-law Joyce, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Donald and granddaughter Baby Ford; parents James and Minerva Welbourne, brothers Robert, Lionel, William and Dwight, infant sister, brother-in-law Harold Owen, and nephews Korey, Clarke and James. Gordon worked for Co-op in Hartney and then the Hartney School Division as custodian for many years. He loved to camp and one of his favorite places was the Drop-in Centre in Carberry. A private family service will be held at a later date with burial in the Newdale Cemetery.
