SHANKS: Bill Shanks passed away peacefully, surrounded by family at Hillcrest Personal Care Home on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the age of 78 years. Bill will lovingly be remembered by his wife Cathy and children Jamie (Naomi), Hannah and Hudson; Tim (Michaela), Grayson and Matilda. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, 401 1st Street, Brandon, on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Christopher Evetts officiating. Donations in memory of Bill may be made to Hillcrest Personal Care Home, 930 26th Street, Brandon, MB, R7B 2B8. A friend and church member from our Thompson Days. So sorry Cathy to hear of Bill’s passing! He was a good man and I still use the memo pad/case he gave me back in Thompson. I know Bill was never in Boissevain but every time I pass the hydro office there… I think of Bill! Hope you are keeping well! Regards… Bill Brooks.
