ROMAN: It is with great sadness that we announce the Passing of O. Douglas Roman. Doug passed away February 11, 2020, at the Assiniboine Center, surrounded by his family. Born in Brandon on July 13, 1948, grew up in Alexander, MB. Attended school in Alexander and Brandon. Married Bev Outhwaite July 20, 1970. Doug and Bev raised their three boys in Brandon. He drove delivery for Perth’s. Then bought his own truck and trailer signed on with RTM until his retirement in 2010. Doug and Bev then moved to Erickson, MB. To be close to the cabin at Ditch Lake. Doug leaves to mourn his wife Bev sons Doug (Brenda) Roman, Erickson, Jason (Nadia) Roman, Calgary, AB, Cory Roman, Grande Prairie, AB; grandchildren Janessa (Cody) Robinson, Cjae, Zackary, Damian (Sharon) Hamilton; great grandchildren Karson, Parker, Lyndsey, Savannah, Benson, Skyler; brothers Laverne, Erickson, Bill (Georgie), Winnipeg; sister Mabel Martin of Hope, BC. There are numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of Doug’s life will be held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 1:00 PM North End Community Center, 1313 Sickney Ave., Brandon.
