TACAN: Mahpiya To Win Blue Sky Woman, Amelia Barbara Tacan, June 21st, 1944-March 8th, 2020. It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our dear mother. Mom passed away surrounded by loved ones. Mom was survived by her daughters Denise, Kathy (Wade) and Michelle (Jeff); her grandchildren Janet, Lauren, Robin, Melissa, Thomas Sr, Staci (Graham), Brett (Sarah), Brock, Braydon (Kristin), Amanda, Shannen (Steven), Dillon, Harmony, Mitana, Rhys and Mya and 28 great grandchildren; sibling Eleanor, Larry, Margaret, Percy, Leona, Frank, Robert and Carrie; numerous nieces and nephews that each held a special place in her heart. Mom was predeceased by her son Robert Rosmus, great grandson Raedyn Goodvoice and parents Ethel and Alfred Tacan, sibling baby boy, Glen, Andrew, Joyce, Bruce and Gerald. Mom left behind a legacy that we will treasure within our hearts. She was a jewel to all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Family and friends are invited to Sioux Valley Veterans Hall on Friday, March 13th, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. where a traditional wake will proceed.
