WRIGHTSON: Dennis Wrightson died Friday, April 3, 2020 at the age of 74, after a valiant struggle with Parkinson’s Disease. Dennis was born and raised on the farm near Riding Mountain, Manitoba. He dedicated his career to education as teacher, principal and superintendent, retiring from Beautiful Plains School Division in 2002. Dennis and Leslie, his wife of 49 years, spent several years enjoying the coastal beauty of Parksville, BC. Preceded by Leslie, Dennis is survived by his brothers, Arthur and Syd, his sister Margaret, his children Adrienne and Michael, and 4 grandchildren. His gentle being, wisdom, and sense of humor will be missed. Memorial services to be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson’s Society BC.
