SCHAMP: Roger Walter Schamp, of Brandon, Manitoba formerly of Glenboro, Manitoba, passed away peacefully, at the Brandon Regional Health Centre, on Monday, April 27, 2020 at the age of 87 years. Roger was born on December 6, 1932 to Jan and Augusta Schamp. He was predeceased by his parents; brothers, Gracian (Mildred), Roman, Tony; sisters, MaryJane (Armand) Desrosiers, Annie (Gus) Marginet; infant siblings, William and Simone; brother-in-law, Omer Rigaux; nephew, Donnie Marginet and nephew-inlaw, David VanDamme. Roger is survived by sister, Marie Jose Rigaux; nieces and nephews and numerous extended family. Roger was a farmer and also worked in the maintenance department of Pool Elevators. He loved to hunt, fish, travel, play Belgium bowling, curling and loved to watch sports of all kind, both live or on TV. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Augustines Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at 10:30 a.m., with Fr. John Okosun as Celebrant.
