WANLESS: Neil A J Wanless (1952- 2020), AKA,Schultz and Doc. Neil died peacefully at home in Chilliwack on May 9, 2020, with his wife of thirty-seven years, Deidre, by his side. Born and raised on the prairies (Belmont, MB) Neil made his life in BC with the love of his life, Dee. Lovers and friends for forty years, Neil and Dee enjoyed many escapades together, always standing shoulder to shoulder through good and bad, never giving up on each other, right to the bittersweet end. Now free of pain and earthly limitations, Neil has gone on to resume his love of woodworking and operating heavy excavatorsand maybe a little golf, and a few cold beers. Raise one for us, AJ. Joining Deidre in mourning Neil are his brothers Dennis (Marsha) and Lane (Candy); sisters, Sherri, Leanne (Doug), and Ann-Marie; sisters-in-laws, Dianne, Allana, Leslie (Rod), and Denise (Doug); daughter Carla; granddaughters Megan (Nick), Kelsee (Andreas), Jaimee (James), and Hanna; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Jaxson, Max, and Charlotte; as well as many other extended family members, and friends. Due to Covid-19 concerns, a celebration of life is planned for late summer. Details TBA. No flowers please.
