BOEHLIG: Christine Boehlig, beloved daughter of Leah (Pickford) Syverson and step-father Gilbert Syverson, passed away suddenly at Brandon Regional Hospital on the morning of Monday, September 28, 2020 at the age of 44 years. Christine was born in Lynn Lake, Manitoba on Monday, May 17, 1976. She leaves to mourn her parents, her brother Don and his wife Emily, and their son Hayden from Penhold, Alberta. How she loved that she was an auntie to this beautiful little boy! Chris was a loving and wonderful mom to her four children: Darren, Tray, Ocean and Kevin, all of Brandon. She will forever be the mom they adored and the beautiful soul who will always have their hearts. Christine is loved and will be missed by her uncle and auntie, David and Ann Pickford; her cousins: Marlis (Colin Kulbachi) and family; Christopher (wife Vanessa) and family; as well as her godparents Auntie Shirley and Uncle Meinrad Baumer of Winnipeg. Christine was predeceased by her devoted grandparents Alan and Phyllis Pickford and Harry and Phyllis Boehlig. Christine also had a large extended family consisting of friends old and new, some of whom she had known for thirty years or more. They know who they are. She also adopted many of her kids' friends, making them as welcome in her home as she did her own children. Their stories, laughter and tears have been a great comfort. Christine did not always have an easy life. She battled a lot of demons in her few years. She had a huge heart, often bringing people into her life that would end up breaking it. Thankfully, her heart had more than enough room for her kids, for whom she would have gladly laid down her life, and for her family and friends. Then along came Laurie Czech, the man for whom her heart grew and stretched in ways she believed she would never find. They were engaged to be married in April. Christine passed way too soon, but she left this world with a heart full of love and joy. Thank you Laurie, thank you kids, and thank you God, for sharing this beautiful soul with us even for a little while. A Graveside Service was held at the Brandon Cemetery on Friday, October 9, 2020 with Deacon Joe Stadnyk officiating.

Christine, my baby girl,
you stole my heart with your birth and broke it with your passing. But I take comfort in knowing that you finally found your worth and the happiness you so deserved. You were so loved and now, in God's hands, you will
see clearly just how much. Mom
