Ronald William McKenzie was born in Winnipeg, MB on Nov. 11, 1945 to William Wesley McKenzie and Charlotte Marjorie (Wickham) McKenzie and raised in the small town of Miniota, MB.
He passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, Apr. 3, 2019. He was in his 73rd year of life.
Ronald leaves behind to cherish his memory his three sons, Chad, Sean and Ian, and his two daughters, Charlotte (Tony) Kauenhofen and Beth-Ann. He also leaves behind his two grandchildren, Ivy and Benjamin McKenzie, and his brother Bob (Sharon) and his boys.
He was predeceased by both of his parents.
The memorial service will be held Wednesday, Apr. 10 at 3:30 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, Steinbach, MB, with ash interment at a later date.
Ron chose to be cremated and had requested that his ashes be brought back home to Miniota, MB to be near his parents and family.
