Peacefully, Rose passed away on Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at the age of 93.
Rose was predeceased by her husband, Bill; parents, Maria and Lawrence Zigarlick; sisters, Jennie, Bessie, Katie, Caroline and Julia; and brothers, John and Joe. She is survived by her sister Victoria of Abbotsford, BC, and by many nieces and nephews.
Rose grew up in Carrick, MB where she met her husband Bill. They lived and worked in Thunder Bay, ON until they retired to the country life in Vita, MB. Rose was a happy, welcoming person who was kind to all she met. We will miss you.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Bethesda Regional Health Centre in Steinbach.
Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 10 a.m. at St Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church in Vita, MB, officiated by Deacon Leon Twerdun. Interment will follow in Sts Peter and Paul Cemetery in Arbakka. Following the interment, all are invited to a light lunch at the Vita Friendship Centre, 226 Home St in Vita.
Pallbearers will be Martin Chobatar, David Machula, Ken Brausseur, Wayne Korchak, Dale Oliver and Jason Oliver.
