JOSEPH TEMPLEMAN

June 30, 1938 – August 9, 2018

On Aug. 9, after a long illness, our cherished father, brother, and uncle peace-fully left this world.

He will be lovingly remembered by his son Brad (Melissa), grandchildren Lawrie, Anne, Emerson, Derek, great grandchildren Oliver and Greysin, his brother Jim, nephews Tim and Joe (Wendy), and nieces Jane (Taras) and Susan (Clayton).

He was predeceased by his loving wife Audrey (nee Hanburg) after 33 years of marriage.

Joe was born in Middlebro, Manitoba, and following high school he joined the Royal Canadian Air Force, working as an aviation mechanic. While being posted in Germany, he met and later married his beautiful wife, Audrey. After leaving the air force, he worked for Sears as a refrigeration and air conditioning technician until he retired in 1995.

Joe loved nothing better in retirement than getting together with friends at the local legion, reminiscing about his experiences in the air force and growing the biggest tomatoes in the neighborhood in his backyard garden.

The family wishes to thank all the staff of the Parkview Care Home and his friend Barb Adams, for all their care and attention.

As per Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will gather at a later date in Middlebro, Manitoba for a graveside ceremony.
