Menno H. Friesen, age 72 years, of Altona, MB, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Altona Memorial Health Centre.
He is survived by his wife Jolanda, their sons Curwin (Jill) Friesen, and Corey (Holly) Friesen as well as by five grandchildren, one sister, and one brother. He was predeceased by his daughter Connie Renee Friesen, his parents Peter S. and Sarah Friesen, one sister, and one brother.
A celebration of Menno’s life will be held on Monday, June 18 at 2 p.m. at the Millennium Exhibition Centre (MEC) in Altona (227 10 Ave NW, Altona, MB). A private family burial will take place prior to the service.
Donations in memory of Menno H. Friesen may be made to the Altona Community Foundation.
