JEANETTE ANN FOREST
(nee Doerksen)
July 31, 1942-June 9, 2018

After a short illness, Jeny passed away peacefully at Bethesda Hospital in Steinbach, MB.

She will be remem-bered for her unique humor and sharp wit. She loved to be at home and tending her garden, cooking and to be surrounded by trees and nature.

She is survived by her loving husband, Roger Forest, of 48 years, brother Jim (Betty) Doerksen, her sister Delia Vaughan, niece Kat Todd, her “adopted” nieces Janine “Muffet” Armstrong, Maureen “Beaseley” Armstrong, Val Webster, Aunt Laura Barkman, Uncle Ron Toews, Aunt Wanda Reimer, sisters-in-laws Terry Placktis and Georgette (Ian) Manson, over 60 cousins, and other various in-laws.

She was predeceased by her parents E.C. (Bert) and Susan Doerksen, and her son Jeffrey Forest.

Jeny was born in Dryden, ON. She spent her younger years in Ste Anne, St James, St Boniface and St Vital. Jeny and Roger had a successful cable TV installation business. They spent most of their married life in Monominto enjoying nature and their friends there. Then they moved to a beautiful Seine River lot in Lorette, MB.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff at Steinbach Bethesda Hospital for their kindness, compassion and for treating her with dignity.

According to Jeny’s wishes, there will be no funeral services.
