John E. Kroeker, age 80 years, from Steinbach, MB., passed away December 1, 2014 at Bethesda Regional Health Center in Steinbach, MB. He is survived by: his loving wife Katherine, his daughter Lorraine (Tim) Ruten, his four sons: Eldon (Phillis), Gordon (Colleen), Daryl (Cindi), and Merle (Katie), 21 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
John started Kroeker Cabinets in 1971. He was a skilled carpenter and passed his love of woodworking to all his sons. After passing the cabinet business on to two of his sons, he continued working with them until November 6th of this year.
John delighted in his family. He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
John loved the Lord. This was evident by the joy he found in singing praises, giving of himself, going on mission’s trips, and working at camps. We are so blessed by the Godly heritage he left us.
A Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, December 5,, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church in Steinbach, with interment to follow at Heritage Cemetery, Steinbach, MB.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Compassion Canada to provide goats for families in Rwanda.
