BOB POWELL
December 30, 1940
- October 27, 2020

Peacefully, and with dignity and spirit, Bob lost his courageous battle with cancer. He was 79 years young!
Bob will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Pat, of 55 years; daughters, Cori and her husband Ed, and Nicole and her husband Jamie and their daughter Reese and grandchildren, Harmony and Zachary; granddogs, Charlie and Jazie; and his very special buddy, Snoopy.
Despite enduring a childhood that he would not wish upon anyone, Bob persevered. He became a strong, brave human being, who showed love to his family every day.
Bob took incredible pride as an owner/operator of his drywall company, Bob Powell Drywall Services. He always ensured his work was professional and exceptional.
Bob enjoyed many things throughout his life. In his early years, snowmobile racing, playing baseball, his Gunton property, his John Deere Tractor, and the family dog Sparky. Later, Bob and Pat enjoyed camping, cruising, travelling to Cori and Ed's home in Alberta, and being at Nicole and Jamie's acreage in the Interlake. Bob was an avid outdoors man; he loved hunting and fishing, especially his fishing adventures with his best friend Earl. Bob treasured all his friendships formed over the years. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A special thank you to the staff on the Medicine Unit at the Selkirk Hospital for providing the best care possible.
As per Bob's request, there will not be a service.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be graciously accepted for CancerCare Manitoba or Juvenile Diabetes Foundation (JDRF).
