MELNYK: Patricia Jane "Pat" Melnyk, beloved wife of Mike of 52 years, mother to Michael (Sandy) and Tim (Colleen) and Baba to Mikaila and Nicholas passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Thursday, November 5, 2020. Also surviving are sisters Shirley (Arnie) and Mavis, brother Tom (Myrna), brother-in-law Fred and numerous nieces and nephews. Pat was predeceased by her parents Ted and Edna, brother Larry, father and mother-in-law Steve and Verna. A private family service will be held. The family invites you to watch the service remotely on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at 11:00 am - a link will appear approximately 5 minutes prior to the service on Pat's memorial page at www.memorieschapel.com. Pat will be laid to rest at the Brandon Cemetery. Donations in memory of Pat may be made to Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of Canada, Box 21047, Brandon, MB, R7B 3W8.

Words cannot express the great opportunity I had to work with this wonderful woman and call her my friend. Pat and I worked at Academy Florist and always had the most giggles. She had crazy stories and wonderful Ukrainian recipes that she readily shared. I am sad that I had not seen Pat in a few years. Good bye my friend.
