Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • My deepest condolences, she was such a lovely woman. I was very much looking forward to bringing my new bundle of joy to see her but with covid I could not. We had such wonderful talks and was always such a delightful lady. She will be greatly missed. Maria - Posted by: Maria (Recreation) on: Nov 23, 2020

  • I am so so sad to hear of my friend who I have gotten to know so well, as I cared for her at Donwood. Evelyn was the sweetest, kindest, loving, caring and so thoughtful wonderful lady. I will miss our many talks we had during my shifts. Her room I would visit many times, to catch the latest news or the recent shows she would tell me all about. Her room was the last room I would visit at the end of my shift. I would tuck her in for the night make sure she had everything she needed. She would make sure I had a treat for my little boy to take home from her. I spent many breaks painting her nails, and she would let me take the nail polish home so we would match. Evelyn always had the best candies to give to everyone, she loves to share everything she had, even her desserts from supper she would save ha ha. She loved to make others happy, and was such a wonderful person to talk to. Evelyn loved her many phone calls from her family, and was very proud of her grandchildren. 2 south will not be the same without your mom. My heart goes out to the family at this hard time. Thinking of you all who I never got to see, but heard all about you. Sandy - Posted by: Sandy (Caregiver ) on: Nov 22, 2020
