LIBAN: Fernand Liban, born January 4, 1927, passed away at Fairview Personal Care Home in Brandon on Monday, November 23, 2020 at the age of 93 years. Originally from Swan Lake, Manitoba, he spent his entire life on the family farm on the edge of the Pembina Valley. Fern was predeceased by his wife, Laurette (née Labossiere) and his sisters, Angeline Wilson, Simone Fortin and Denise Anisodon. Fernand is survived by sons, Roger (Debra) and Rene (Kim) as well as daughter, Lynn (Larry) and grandchildren, Melissa, Justin, Ashton, and Chase. He is also survived by his special friend, Laura. In keeping with Fern's wishes there will be no memorial service. Those who so desire may make donations in memory of Fern to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, Unit 4B-457-9th Street, Brandon, MB, R7A 1K2.
