SPAK: Mr. John Spak of Brandon, formerly of Virden, passed away peacefully at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at the age of 79. John is survived by his wife, Sharon of Brandon; son, Ryan (children, Jaylen and Dylan) of MacGregor, MB; daughter, Carmen (Shaun) Steinburg (children, Katelyn and Hannah) of Grande Prairie, AB. He was predeceased by his parents, Wasyl "William" and Domka "Dorothy" (Drozda) Szpak; brothers, Peter and Paul; sister, Mary. A private family service will be held. A celebration of John's life will take place at a later date when restrictions ease. If friends desire, donations in memory of John can be directed to the Brandon Regional Health Centre Foundation, 150 McTavish Ave. East, Brandon, MB, R7A 2B3.
