STOBBE: John Stobbe. May 10, 1928-November 27, 2020. John passed away in Brandon, Manitoba after a brief illness, joining his wife, Freda and son, Bruce. John was predeceased by his sister, Maria and brothers, Henry, Jake and Peter. He will be missed by his daughters, Susan (John) Dodds and Sandra (David) Bird; grandchildren, Tammie Gats, Kristine Pugh (Len Podruski), Steven Bird, Meeshala Bird, Michelle Bird and Jay Stobbe; great-grandchildren, Michyla, Shanya, Hudson and Lily; great-great grandchildren, Chase and Gage. After retirement from the Brandon Research Station, John enjoyed craft work and gardening. There will be no funeral service held. Donations in memory of John may be made to World Vision Canada, 1 World Drive, Mississauga, ON, L5T 2Y4.
