MAUTHE: Margaret Lydia passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2020. She was born on July 16, 1927 in Amaranth, Manitoba. She married Robert Mauthe in 1945 and they welcomed their son in December of 1946. In 1955, they moved to Brandon and she started to work for Kresges. She enjoyed playing her guitar and singing. Bingo and bus trips to the casinos were always good times. She was predeceased by her husband in 2003, and eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her son, Kenneth and his wife, Gloria; two sisters, Ella Markwich and Ruth Neutall; sisters-in-law, Elsie Langer, Dorothy Quiring (Frank) and brother-in-law, Walter Mauthe (Dorothy); special friend, Jeannie of Rotary Villas. A private graveside service was held at Brandon Cemetery on Monday, December 7, 2020. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to a charity of choice.
