So sorry to hear of John's passing. We have lots of good memories about you and john. Linda do you remember working at the U of M when we were younger? Also memories of John tutoring Gerry for his grade 10 maths. We would have supper and then John and gerry would sing mass in latin while doing dishes. I will always be grateful for John agreeing to be principal at Lorette immersion. He was my last boss. Lots of good times. Linda, always remember the good times and be safe. - Posted by: Gerry & Jeannine Vandale (friends) on: Dec 22, 2020

John was my principal at St Paul's Collegiate in Elie Mb. He had an indelible impression on my life and helped me to navigate through my final years of high school. I have always thought of him as one of the people whose impact stayed strong and valued for his guidance, mentorship and frienship. I graduated in 1970 but years later I bought a business owned by Linda and she too became a friend and teacher. I have thought of you both over the years with great fondness and am saddened to read of his passing. I am sorry and send you my sincere sympathy. I pray that peace and solace will find their way to you and your family. I will always remember him and the times we shared. - Posted by: Monique Aquin Graboski (Student) on: Dec 19, 2020

I remember John with fondness as my grade 9 teacher at Crandall. Also the coach of our Volleyball team with whose leadership our small girls team made it to the provincial finals in Winnipeg. My condolences to Linda and all of your family on his passing. - Posted by: Edith Stephenson (former student) on: Dec 19, 2020

I took my grade 12 at Crandall and John was a teacher of mine. This was 1961 to 62. Not only was he my teacher, he was a friend. He taught me by day and we hung around at night. John boarded at Mrs. Coburn's place in Crandall. After leaving Crandall, John married Linda and he taught at Rivers. Wayne Angus and I used to visit John and Linda while they lived in Rivers. On behalf of my wife Aline, I extend our condolences to Linda and family. - Posted by: Brian Johnston (Former student) on: Dec 16, 2020
