SPENCER HARDING
Spencer will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Agnes and his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Charlotte and his siblings: sisters, Christabel, Eleanor, Marjorie, Margaret, Kay and Jean; brothers, Bill, Philip, Jimmy and Martin (assumed).
Spencer was born in St. Andrews, MB and resided in Winnipeg. He worked at Eaton's in the basement mail order department and moved into the security division later. He then moved to security for the Law Courts Building where he remained until his retirement.
Spencer and Agnes enjoyed many car rides, stopping for a bite to eat and simply being in each other's company. Spencer will be missed for his sense of humour, teasing and playing jokes. He was a kind man who loved to talk about the old times and shared many stories of his life growing up in St. Andrews that we'll keep in our hearts and in his memory.
A private funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 2:30 p.m. To view the service live the link will be on his obituary page, www.gilbartfuneralhome.com

In loving memory of my favorite Uncle Spencer whom I have such great memories of. Always laughing and teasing everyone. My Mom, Puddy, as you called her, looked so forward to your visits and laughing at your jokes while sitting around the kitchen table. She truly was happy when you were around and I know you missed her terribly when she left us. I can imagine your reunion in heaven. After you got sick, I didn't have much access to you but I always thought about you. Will miss you Spencer but I know you're with Mom, your other sisters and brothers and your beloved Mom and Dad. RIP my favorite Uncle until we all meet again. - Posted by: Sandra Hogue (Niece) on: Dec 15, 2020
