LELOND: Velma Noreen Lelond. The passing of Velma Noreen Lelond occurred on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Pine Grove Nursing Home, Fredericton, NB. Born on July 9, 1925 in Crandall, Manitoba. She was the daughter of Albert and Emily Irvine. She was predeceased by brothers Thomas and Alfred. Five sisters Sarah, Leona, Gwen, Ena and Myrtle. She was an avid knitter and bowler. She loved watching baseball and curling. She is survived by her son, Vince (Rozelle) Lelond of Fredericton, NB; Grandchildren Chad (Lori) Lelond of Shilo, Manitoba and Krista (Kendell) Derksen of Shilo, Manitoba. Five grandchildren Cameron, William, Brooklyn, Spencer, and Aaliyah. In keeping with Velma's wishes no service will be held. A private family Interment will take place in Brandon, Manitoba at a later date.
