Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySEDAR: The death of Ethel Diane Sedar occurred at Hillcrest Place Personal Care Home on Friday, December 18, 2020. Ethel was born on August 15, 1943 to Neil and Lucy Veenbaas and lived her earlier years on a farm near Rivers. She leaves behind a sister, Cora Gratton and two nieces: Evonne (Mark) Halliday and Kara Gratton, all of Brandon; a nephew James (Erin) Gratton of Saskatoon; three great-nieces: Hanna, Lucianna and Celia and two great-nephews: Timothy and Oliver. A private family funeral will take place at the Brockie Donovan Chapel with interment to follow at Rivers Cemetery. We would like to express our thanks to the Hillcrest staff for the kind, compassionate and patient care they gave to Ethel over the years. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice.
