ENID IONA BOUTET
(nee CASPER)
July 12, 1928 - December 26, 2020
She was predeceased by her husband James (Ted); her parents, Fred and Ottillie Casper; four brothers, Paul, Harry, Ben and Gerhard; four sisters, Lydia, Mabel, Violet and Lena.
She will lovingly be remembered by her two sons, Dennis (Lynda) and Larry (Irene); four grandchildren, Chad (Alison), Janine (Ryan), Todd (Christine) and Tammy (Rob); eight great-grandchildren, Blair and Colton, Jaya, Arianna and Emery, Ryan, Ari and Payton. She also will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mom was born in Greenridge, and lived in Emerson and Dominion City. She worked at the Emerson Personal Care Home for 15 years as a health care aide. She enjoyed volunteering in the community and helping others. She especially enjoyed volunteering for the Congregate Meal Program for 16 years. Before moving to the manor, her home and yard brought her much joy. She was the happiest when all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren would gather together for Christmas dinners and special occassions.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to her friends and neighbours who helped her over the years. Thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff for her care in her final weeks.
Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. Due to covid-19 restrictions, a private family service will be held with interment at the Emerson Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Dominion City Community Hall, Box 111, Dominion City, R0A 0H0.
Friends and relatives are invited to share stories, memories and condolences for the family by visiting the Wiebe Funeral Home Altona website. www.wiebefhaltona.com.

Sending our condolences, love and hugs to Dennis, Lynda, Larry, Irene and Families. I fondly remember all the fun times going out to Emerson and Dominion City to visit all the Aunties with Mom & Dad, so many great memories. As I got married and had my kids, they were also introduced to the fun times of the Aunties and the small town life out in Dominion City, a few fun times at the pool, oh so very close to Aunty Iona's house! I will never forget Aunty Iona's hospitality when we would go to visit and the memories we made! Rest in Peace Aunty Iona - Posted by: Shannon (Kasper), Linc, Tanner and Madison Smith (Niece) on: Jan 03, 2021
