WILLY JODTS
Willy is survived by his son, Tim (Laura).
In keeping with Willy's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
Willy was a bricklayer for 50 years, and part of the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers. Willy was a loving husband, to my mom for 54 years, who passed away in 2017.
My father was an amazing spouse to my mother, top notch dad, and a great teacher of many things in life, which I will continue to carry on. He was well respected and loved by everyone he met.

Hi Tim! Sorry to hear about your Dad passing, I just found out about it, my late husband Horst Herbert Habeck was a good friend of your Dad, we always had good times on or Bricklayers Business Conventions. I remember one trip Grand Rapids, your Dad and I we liked Prime Rib steaks, so we ordered them for a whole week for supper. Roswitha Habeck - Posted by: Roswitha Habeck (Friend) on: Jan 26, 2021

Willy was a kind and welcoming man. I remember fondly my days of working with him during my summers as a teenager. He was funny, generous, and as a young man he treated me with respect as one of the guys which I appreciated very much. My condolences to Tim for your loss. - Posted by: Brent Turman (Friend) on: Jan 11, 2021

Willy was a big part of my years on the Bortoluzzi Masonry team. A conscientious worker, but also always up for a bit of fun, especially at the expense of the boss. Lots of good memories. Deepest sympathy to Tim and Laura. He loved you deeply, Tim, and was always proud of you. Joe - Posted by: Joe and Pat Psooy (Co-worker and friend) on: Jan 09, 2021

Hi Tim, So sorry to read about your dad's passing. He was a wonderful friend at the lake and did many great jobs for us at the resort and our cottage. We will always remember him as a very happy husband and father and a very hard worker who would do anything for you. He made lake life more fun and a happy place to be.
