NAVID: Rudy Michael passed peacefully away at Fairview Personal Care home on Friday, January 29th, 2021. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Norma; sons Glen Navid and Lee; granddaughter Kellie and Jay Wigelsworth and great-grandchildren Logan and Adelyn; grandson Allen Leslie and partner Jess Wentzel; grandson Mike Rollins and partner Ashley Tusz; son Larry Navid; son Richard Navid and Rena (Booth); grandchildren Colton, Maxwell and Asher Navid; son Kirk and Karisma Navid; daughter Brenda and Roger Potvin; grandchildren Danny and Gill Potvin; great-grandchild Luc Potvin; grandson Jason Potvin and partner Ashley Miller-Williams and granddaughter Taylor Potvin. Rudy was born in Carrot River, Saskatchewan November 21, 1939. He moved to Rounthwaite, Manitoba taking over the family farm. He raised his four boys there driving equipment, meals in the fields and many road trips across Canada and into the United States. Rudy married Norma January 26, 1991. Rudy worked for the Manitoba highways cutting grass. He also ran a general contracting company securing amazing contracts including several projects at CFB Shilo. Rudy and Norma moved to Baldur, Manitoba and spent several years enjoying camping trips at Killarney Lake and Virden, Manitoba. They moved to the acreage outside of Brandon, Manitoba in 2003. After Rudy's health failed he moved to Fairview Personal Care Home October 2019 where Norma and Richard spent the last year as designated caregivers. The celebration of Rudy's life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
