HANDZUK: Stella Handzuk (nee Buternowsky) of Brandon and formerly of Melfort, Saskatchewan passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at the age of 89 years. Stella was predeceased by her husband John and is survived by her brother Tom (Tena) Buternowsky and sister Marg Charney. Viewing will take place on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from Rae's Funeral Chapel, Shoal Lake from 2:00–4:00 p.m. Physical distancing guidelines will be in place. A funeral service will take place at a later date from the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Horod with interment to follow at the parish cemetery. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Activities Department at the Fairview Personal Care Home, Brandon or to a charity of your choice. A complete obituary will follow at a later time.
