GAGNON: Marie Louise Lucy (nee Gervais) passed away on Monday, March 15, 2021 at the Brandon Regional Health Centre. Marie was born on the family farm near Alida, Saskatchewan on March 1, 1943 to Leonce and Margaret Gervais. As a young adult Marie studied nursing at St. Boniface Hospital and while doing so, she met her future husband. Marie married Andre Gagnon on April 23, 1962, and they soon began raising their family: Susan, Michael, Louise and Andrea. Marie loved being surrounded by her family, her grandchildren and great grandchildren were very special joys in her life. Each of her grandchildren Nicolas, Vanessa, Meagan, Melissa, Alicia, Matthew and Derrick have been the beneficiaries of Marie's very loving, generous and caring nature. Marie was very proud of her great grandchildren Roman, Sylus, Akaeus, Khaos, Amelia and Juliana. Marie kept a special spot in her heart for her seven siblings Edward, Jeanne, Rose, Johnny, Clement, Marcel and Dianne. Marie's faith in God was her strength, and her devout attendance at, and devotion to St. Augustine's Roman Catholic Church reflected this. Her family was always her focus and each of them will carry with them forever the memories and love that they shared. Marie will be sadly missed by everyone whose life she touched.
