STEVENS: Fletcher Lloyd Stevens passed away on February 27, 2021 in White Rock, BC. Fletcher was born on May 14, 1933 in Deloraine, MB to Lloyd Fletcher Thompson Stevens and Grace Edna (Austin) Stevens. He married Ruth Evelyn Cathcart in 1951. They had two daughters. Fletcher and Ruth divorced and he married Pauline Yvonne Belley in 1962. They relocated to BC in 1963. Fletcher started his own business, Spartan Agencies in 1969 which they owned and operated until 2014. Fletcher and Pauline enjoyed many years of boating and fishing and loved spending time with their large family and many friends. They remained in the lower mainland until 2005 when they semi retired and moved to Campbell River, BC. They stayed in Campbell River until Pauline passed away in 2015. Fletcher moved to White Rock in 2017 to be closer to family. Fletcher is survived by his partner and companion Ella, his two daughters, Cathryn (Gary) Pachal and Laurie (George) Gillespie, grandchildren Tara (Robin) Zabek, Todd (Jennifer) Pachal and Laurel (Jason) Reed, great grandchildren Fletcher, Isabel, Adamay, Arlo and Baby Reed and many nieces and nephews to whom he was very close. He was predeceased by his parents, sister Irene Wasylyshyn and brothers Charlie, Alvin, Lyle and Jim. Arrangements have been made by Amherst Funeral and Cremation Services in Vancouver, BC.
