COCHRANE: Walter "Brian" Cochrane passed away on Monday, April 26th, 2021 in Brandon, MB at the age of 74. He is survived by Margaret (spouse) and children, Robert and Rhonda (Joe) and his two grandchildren, Brooke and Erek along with his two sisters, Marlene and Olive and their loving families. Brian was heavily involved in managing the family business, Wally's Taxi for most of his work life. He was truly a staple in the community. Brian knew everyone in town and everybody loved him as soon as they met him. He was a friend to all and he always went out of his way to put a smile on people's faces. He often used jokes to break the ice or cheer someone up. He was a sports enthusiast. He played hockey and softball earlier in his life and enjoyed coaching youth sports, especially hockey. He enjoyed listening to his old-time rock and roll music, especially singers like Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley. He was not shy to try to dance and sing along. Always an entertainer. He touched the lives of so many. His positive spirit and warm personality will be missed by all. We look forward to being able to honor Brian with a proper service later in the year. We hope everyone who would like to attend will have the opportunity. He would have wanted a full house full of friends and family.
