JESSIE JOANNE HERMARY
Joanne will be deeply missed and is survived by her daughter Kimberley (Marcel); son Lindsay; daughter Jodie (Darrell); foster son Keith; grandchildren, Jessie (Patrick), Jordan, Mackenzie, Brandon, Karley and Payton; great-grandson Torey; as well as her loving dog Frankie.
Joanne was predeceased by her beloved husband Roy; son Tyler; brother Gordon; and mother and father Jessie and Joseph Lindsay.
Joanne's tenacity, passion and determination resulted in a career as a fashion model, followed by 60 years working in the hairstyling industry. Forty-five of those years, she worked tirelessly building her own company previously known as Tino's Beauty Salon followed by Shear Attraction. Joanne did this while raising four children as well as fostering a child.
Joanne enjoyed the company of employees and her many clients making for a warm, loving environment filled with constant laughter. Joanne and her daughters were blessed with the opportunity to work beside each other throughout the years.
To mention a few of the many qualities Joanne possessed would be a positive attitude, great fashion and style, a warm heart, a very hard worker and she loved creating a beautiful yard and garden. It was her joy to bake her signature birthday cakes for her family and spending time with family and friends. Joanne had an essence of home for all who knew her and will remain forever in our hearts.

Thinking of all the mothers out there on Mothers day. Though I am sure it must be difficult for family gatherings, and get togethers during a time of life's celebration because of Covid, this much I know, as I have lived through it. I remember St. Patrick's day clearly, it was not a pleasant day for me, and having that connection of Irish heritage, I never did wear green that day, nor did I celebrate it. My heart goes out to the Hermary family. Though we never get to see each other, my thoughts and prayers go out to each and every one of you, take great care spiritually, and be kind to each other. A butterfly to remind me, even though we are apart, Your spirit is always with me, forever in my heart. Keith - Posted by: keith (foster son) on: May 08, 2021
