RITA MARIE JOHNSON
She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children, Ken (Colette), Bruce (Barb), Susie, and Lyle (Jackie); grandchildren, Michael (Lara), Stephen, David, Brian (Jenna), Stephanie, Laura, Brooke, and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Wyatt and Bijou; and her good friend Joan Ringland.
Rita was predeceased by her husband Ken; her son Lloyd; and daughter-in-law Linda.
Rita was born on October 13, 1929, in St. Boniface. She and Ken met at the Winnipeg Roller Rink and were married on December 22, 1948.
Rita was employed with Eaton's mail order and then with Rae & Jerry's Restaurant for 36 years, retiring in 1993.
At the time of her passing, she resided at Arlington Haus where she had lived for many years and met many good friends during this time.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
