My sincere condolences, Annette, Claude, Sue, Gary, and Sharon on the loss of your son, brother, and brother-in-law Lawrence. It was a shock to read of his passing this morning especially when he so gracefully coped with his diabetes. It was a pleasure having Lawrence as a Grade 12 math student back in the late 70's and encountering him later in town and at the Kidney Walk. I will always remember him as smart, gentle, and thoughtful. - Posted by: Sam Klippenstein (Former teacher and friend) on: Jun 03, 2021

I am proud to say that Lawrence was a friend of mine for many years. Through community sports, work and socially our paths crossed many times over the decades. Lawrence was always involved with a cause designed to support Sagkeeng, especially with the youth. He really loved his community and dedicated so much of his time and energy to Sagkeeng. Years ago when Lawrence was attending university in Ontario he stayed with my family in Toronto for awhile. That was a real privilege for my parents, brothers and sisters who got to spend time with and know Lawrence. To all of Lawrence’s family and friends at Sagkeeng and beyond, sincere condolences. With sympathy from Liz Gray and the Gray family. - Posted by: Liz (Gray) on: Jun 03, 2021
