JOELENE CAROL MARIE SKENE

It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our caring and wonderful mom, grandma, sister, cousin and friend, Joelene Skene, on June 11, 2021, at the age of 71. Joelene was born on July 7, 1949 in Brandon, Manitoba.
Joelene will be forever and deeply missed by her daughter Lisa Pearson (Paul and Chase); son Scott (Alexa Balzer); granddaughter Taylor; brothers, Rod and Darren Pudlo, cousins, Don and Marcie Stadnyk; and by numerous friends that knew her through her life's journey.
Joelene was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Sophie Pudlo; and brother Richard Pudlo.
Joelene loved her family and friends unconditionally and whenever you needed her, she was there to make you feel better and give you the biggest hug. In her younger days, she was always the life of the party and loved her many Shooting Star and Vegas trips with her family and friends. A great many of her "work" friends were still a big part of her life. She had so many great friends and made amazing memories along the way.
Over the last several years, she enjoyed playing Kinsmen bingo with her family, chicken wings and most of all her sleepovers with the light of her life, her granddaughter, Taylor.

We are going to miss you so much, Mama J!

A special thank you to the amazing staff at Deer Lodge Centre who tried their very best to get her back home to us.
Cremation has taken place and a private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date when we are able to do so.
In lieu of flowers, friends and family are asked to make a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
