Jeanne and family, So sorry to hear of Jean's passing. I always enjoyed your visits to Zenon Park and Nipawin, where we would share a few drinks and many stories! My conversational french isn't great, so often I would lose track of the story Jean may be telling but Jeanne would fill in the blanks. Story telling was a gift every Bothorel I know has! May Jean have peace now and may the family continue to share his memories in stories. (I am Alex and Irene Bothorel's daughter; from Zenon Park). - Posted by: Phyllis Bothorel (cousin) on: Aug 11, 2021

My condolences to the Bothorel family! I was just driving down the street where I recall, as a child, having come to visit with my family, the Jean Bothorel family. That was so many years ago! My dad, Nick (Nicholas) Suchynsky, worked with Jean at St. Boniface Hospital and I recall there was also a John, they were a pretty tight group! My dad always enjoyed working with Jean and John. In those days the work was harder than now, but they had fun working together! Also in those days, St. Boniface was a real ‘family affair!’ Families worked there and got to know one another! On behalf of my family, I wish to extend our condolences on the passing of Jean. And I also wish to say thank you Jean, for the friendship had with my dad Nick! - Posted by: Nadia Malchuk (Suchynsky) (My father’s friend and co worker) on: Jul 05, 2021
