MURRAY: George Ridgway Murray, passed away at the Brandon Regional Health Centre on Wednesday, June 30, 2021. George was born to Murdo and Edythe Murray in Milan, Quebec. He spent many years as a bus driver for Grey Goose Bus Lines and operated a television repair shop. George enjoyed playing the pipes with the 25th Field Regiment Pipe Band, playing piano and guitar, singing and as an artist loved woodworking and oil paintings. George is survived by his wife Phyllis, four children: Lana Murray (Dwayne Biech), Wanda Heron, Donald, Donalda (Paul) Svarc and five grandchildren. He is also survived by sisters Hazel Brunt and Alene Welch and sister-in-law Nancy Murray. George was predeceased by brothers Lennox and Walter and sisters Mavis Curtis and baby Martha. A private graveside service will be held at Virden Cemetery.
