Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I worked with John at Piston Ring. He was the most stubborn but sweetest man to me. He had so many jokes and stories to tell me from when he was young. Although he was the same age as my grandfather, we got along great and shared many laughs. I accidentally stumbled across his obituary looking for someone else's and it felt like someone had punched me in the stomach. I was very sad to see this and I send my most sincere condolences to his wife Sue (as he called her when speaking of her to me) and his entire family. He was such a great man and co-worker and I'm sure he was an incredible relative as well. I'm truly so sorry for everyone's loss. - Posted by: Alicia (Co-worker) on: Aug 12, 2021

  • I well remember when John & Frank moved to across the street from our house because John was buying ice cream cones for anyone who asked! We played a lot in their big back yard in the street, etc... cowboys & guns... Frankie: remember the time when your bow & arrow "went off" & you hit John in his eyelid?? We all walked to the outdoor markets nearby so he could rinse his eye. We had the 1st TV in the whole area & you used to come over after school to watch your favorite shows. A few yrs later, we both moved, but I found you at your new place, & we watched some late night movies at your place. How are you?? Send me an email!! - Posted by: Rev Bruce Yarrow (childhood friend of Johnie & Frankie) on: Jul 29, 2021
