DARRELL THOMAS PAUL MALCOLM
(AKI-KEEIZENS)
September 19, 1991 – July 31, 2021

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Darrell Thomas Paul Malcolm on the morning of July 31, 2021 at the age of 29 years.
Darrell leaves to mourn his father Michael, his mother Tina; his grandparents, Paul and Norma Daniels; grandfather Tom Richard; his brothers, Dana, Joe and Jordan; his sisters, Tanika, Erin, Emily and Leia; his uncles, Paul and Gil; his aunts, Fernande and Lana and numerous cousins. Darrell was predeceased by his grandmother Lena Malcolm.
Darrell was born to Michael and Tina, but he was raised by his grandparents, Paul and Norma since he was a baby. Darrell had a good heart and, at times, a teasing sense of humour. Darrell loved animals and his special dog Kermit; Kermit was a dog Darrell brought to Sagkeeng from the streets of Winnipeg. Darrell was very smart and even though he had no formal computer schooling, was able to do many things on the computer that were self taught. Darrell was a big fan of rave music but enjoyed many other types of music.
Darrell went through great struggles during his short time here on earth. We take comfort in knowing that he is no longer suffering, and we pray that he has a peaceful journey back home to the Creator.
The family will hold a one-day wake at the Fort Alexander Roman Catholic Church Hall on Friday, August 6, 2021. Funeral will follow in church on Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 2:00 p.m., with final viewing at 1:00 p.m.
We would like to give special thanks to those that brought food and shared memories during our sacred fire.
